They do have an online shop, but then you risk potential import duties - though may get away with it. You'll have already seen UK stockists. No sub-forum for tool sales, but I've always found Patrick very responsive to support questions of all types on their contact and indeed in the early days on here (tho no recent experience).

The GAP IID is locked to a single VIN number so only basic functions are available for other vehicles. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

I'm aware of that - I will only need code reading capability. 2012 (L322) 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE, RSE, Fuji White over Arabica.

We used to call it 'basic functionality' but that was misleading as it is really provides full diagnostic capabilities. The only thing we have in the VIN-locked 'Advanced Programming' features that could actually be part of normal diagnostic capability is EAS electronic air suspension calibration - and with that the height alteration functions that are unique to the IIDTool. For this reason we now call it "Full Diagnostic Functionality" and it is VIN-lock free and usable on all LR's we cover. And, at present, it is still better and more comprehensive than any other diagnostic system on the market. RRC 2Dr, RRC 4Dr, P38, and 2 L322s (wife thinks I'm nuts - prob right, too) |
