Deployable sidestep bench testing L322

Hi, first post and it's a call for help.

L322 Deployable side steps on my wife's L322 have stopped working and I am getting it in the ear. Over the years I have had them off to free up and lubricate. This time they were pretty seized. I have freed them off but think I have a problem with the motors.

My assumption is the motors have failed but with the cost of them I am loathed to fire a parts cannon.

So my question is can the motors be bench tested? IE what wire does what. I can't find a detailed wiring diagram.

I have read many posts about fitting, cleaning etc but can't find one about testing the motors Sad

Any help is appreciated to keep me being banished to the sofa.

Chaps - have a look towards the end of this youtube video. The guy shows you what wires to connect to, to test the motors.
