2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Alveston Red
MY2006 Vogue TD6 (Reg'd late 2005)

I'm Selling the FFRR due to other financial commitments, and the fact that it hardly gets used at the moment, although I'm not in a huge rush to part with her Sad.

Hopefully it won't be a long break from the FFRR fold though, and a TDv8 is on the agenda, maybe next year.

It was nearly sold to another forum member a few weeks ago, but the DVLA couldn;t get my plate off in time. Now the plate is off, i thought i'd stick it up for sale and see if anyone is interested. I'm looking for around 19k which appears to be a good price for a facelifted TD6 based on other for sale at the moment.

Alveston Red/Sand Leather/Dark Wood trim
55k miles
I would describe it as excellent consition inside and out, although there are a few minor chips.
MOT Oct/Tax Aug
Full history, last one specialist.

Obviously it has the usual facelift vogue toys :

Reverse Cam
Touch Screen Nav
Venture Cam
removable Towbar
Full Rubber Mats
FBH / Remote Park Heat.

Some of you may remember that i looked at close to 20 FFRR before i bought this one, which was leagues ahead in condition. The Rear seats and boot have hardly been used.

More pics if anyone's interested.

Cheers

Hi Avi,

To anyone interested in this car, I'd urge you to go and have a look, It's in really tidy condition, but more importantly with one of these cars, it's spot on mechanically.

It was me that nearly bought it, however due to work commitments, I needed a car before the log book and new plate arrived back from DVLA.

I've owned a TD6 but with around 90k on the clock, this car feels much smoother, quieter and spritelier than my old one, highly recommended!

Best of luck with the sale.

Phooey. Thumbs Up

Thanks Phooey!! Thumbs Up. I reqally did my research before i originally bought this one!

Additional Point : It still has a 3rd party warranty until late this year, which i believe is transferrable.

I'll give it a bit longer on here, before i stick it up elsewhere and have to deal with idiots ringing up Very HappyVery Happy

Cheers

Andy Very Happy

As predicted, i've had so many idiots ringing up. Stupid PX es, and people who just need to 'sort out the money'.
Had one guy who wanted it, but when his wife came round, she told him she preffered the X5 Rolling Eyes .

I'm not sure dropping the price is going to help, as i've not had a shortage of interest, what's everyone's opinion ?

Much prefer for it to go to someone here, if someone want to make me an offer. Very Happy ?

Are you getting feedback to suggest that the price is an issue? Maybe there are just not that many buyers out there at the moment. I'm looking for a newer TDV8 FF or sport and I've been looking at pretty much the same cars for over two months now. Either the ads are not getting withdrawn on sale or they're just not selling. I'm fairly convinced that prices of what I'm looking for are going to drop sharply over the next few months - I may be wrong but I'm willing to wait. Have you thought of putting it into an auction with a reserve? Maybe even ebay. That way you might get an idea of what any buyers out there are willing to pay. It looks like a cracking car.

Of those that have enquired or looked at it, I've not had any feedback saying it's particulary priced too high. I guess a price drop is the way to go initially though. I'd normally look to p/x it, and save all this, but I don't need another car, and the cash would be far more useful. Then hopefully look for a TDV8 , probably early next year.

Just waved goodbye. A dealer rang me and came and bought it for a couple if quid less than I was asking. Agreed over the phone and He definitely appreciated the condition of it when he got here ! I'm more than happy having had her 9 months and losing very little Very Happy

I'm sticking around though, as i'll hopefully be looking for a tdv8 sometime soon.
