Pivi pro

I am still struggling to get this to do half of what I want, not helped by having also got the Porsche at the same time that has a similar system that does things differently.
In the home screen it has 3 panes up, but they seam to be just big buttons.
Is it possible to have the map open in one showing where you are. The sound system in another showing what is playing with other channels. the phone in another with a list of numbers.
And when you touch one to not make it enormous and close the other 2. letters not necessarily in the right order

I have tried and cant, sorry! I tend to leave it simple and don't mess with it unless I really need to.

The tech is all a bit much for me!!! I like it nice and simple, I find you can spend so much time looking at the screen not the road if you're not careful.

Had the car two months and still not found my perfect view, I usually use CarPlay but am trying to use the landrover nav so the routing drives phev optimisation. I now have the map in the centre of the dash so I can have the main screen for music etc. MY23 PHEV HSE

You can’t do much with the Home Screen panes other than get some additional detail if you press one of the icons at the bottom of the pane (e.g traffic jam info on route on the navigation pane). This info disappears as soon as you press on another pane though.

Pivi Pro is a good system and the more I use it I think I prefer it to BMW”s iDrive which I have always thought to be one of the best systems. Unfortunately like all things JLR, it could be so much better with just a little more effort.

Thanks all.
I am far from convinced this is a step in the right direction but an IT world demands it and the cost does not go up with the numbers they sell so good for margin.
It would be nice if JLR asked the people who buy the cars rather than a wanabe focus group. letters not necessarily in the right order
