Well you can but the preparation would be lengthy, you would have to remove them to do it properly and it won't last that long....

Mine were painted just before I bought the car. They were very tarnished prior. After a few months letters started to fall off so I bought a couple of full letter sets from etsy at about £7 each. A local body shop guy fitted the new set for £20. All good since then, about 6 months ago. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged
