2010 NSR Driveshaft stuck in hub

Ok, I know these can be a bit stubborn.

Put the hub assy c/w shaft in the press, 15ton with penetrant and heat. Not the smallest bit of movement.

Had anyone got any suggestions? I’d be most grateful.

Is it easier to get a new knuckle and outer CV?

Thanks,

Matt

There is a special tool from LR. Bolts on the hub and winds out the shaft. Amazing bit of kit!

I did try using the slide hammer in reverse essentially to achieve the same thing.

Would of thought the tonnage trumps the mechanical though?
