Saudi Arabia 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Siberian Silver

My TA Bailey needs about 95-98kg on the nose to be best balanced for towing, I need to really shift a lot of payload to the front to get the noseweight up. Got to be really careful though to also try and remove weight from the rear too as part of getting the noseweight up to avoid a see-saw effect FFRR SDV8 Autobiography

My Buccaneer bottoms out my gauge, 150 kg, with one gas cylinder and Censored all else in the front locker. Tows like a dream though. Most stable van I've ever owned.

I've only got a little one....... Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed Whistle

It's a Trigano Silver 310 'pop-top' and it's physically smaller than the Rangie in all directions (length, width and height). What this means is that we can go places other vans can't, more quickly and more economically too!

There's just enough room between my house and garage to squeeze the Rangie into the back garden - this meant the van could be kept there too. The neighbour didn't even know we had a caravan because of this! No sitting about the driveway for 48 weeks of the year asking to be stolen or advertising when we're away.

I've (inadvertantly) done 95mph while tugging the van because I forgot it was there.... officer! Whistle

With the OEM awning, it's more than big enough for two plus big dog.

We tend to go to sites with decent facilities, so the bed is left made-up and we live / eat in the awning.

There's a three burner hob, oven, grill, microwave, toilet, shower and a large bed (fits 3, but I've never been that lucky!).

Just got home from a week away and can't wait to go again. Razz The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

I'm the original roof tent protagonist. Razz

It's been up on the (2) Rangies for several years and most folks up here had never seen one before. Now they are everywhere, including on rental Defenders. Sadly they are giving us native 'wild glampers' a bad name. Sad

The roof tent is great for one or two nights. Three nights is pushing things with SWMBO! The tin tent is for 4+ nights.

@DrRob
If you want a nice shower, look for the ones with the end bathroom. We currently have a Coachman VIP 520 with the end bathroom and it has a good sized shower. I would also recommend those fitted with Alde wet heating. Much better (IMHO) than the blown air systems.

Just for a laugh, probably the ultimate in land based boys toys for those getting a bit tired of Italian exotica.

I'll take one of those, and one of these below in case I want to take fatty along with me. Figure I might need some spares.
