Viscous Fan Change

So today I thought I’d change the Viscous Fan Coupling in my 4.4 TDV8.
What a job Shocked Shocked
Started at 8:15am and came in at 7:05pm.
Did change the Auxiliary Belts whilst I was at it but what a Pain the Fan Shroud is to free it from the Radiator.
Hidden bolts behind the 2nd Turbo Bypass Valve and as for the one on the Driverside that is inside where the Fan spins, I have no words to describe the Engineer who decided that was a good idea.

Anyway, all done and running again but boy do I ache 🤣🤣🤣 2001, 4.4 TDV8, Vogue, Baltic Blue

I’ve needed to remove the fan 5 times so far for access to various parts and each time I’ve been happy to let the garage do it. I agree it’s a terrible design given how many repairs require it to be removed. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
