Well mine is a '17 so pre face lift and "only" 543BHP so not directly relevant to your search. As you know from your experience, with JLR you just have to be lucky. I don't think the SVAs will be any different in that regard to any other fatty. Of my three previous: one was a nightmare; one was a saint; and the other very good. I'm 2.4 years and 26k miles into the SVA and so far has been great and in nearly every way the best yet (tho don't get me started on folding the rear seats!). Hopefully I'll still be saying that in another three years or so when its time to move it on.

I had two in 2019. First one all electrics shut down and no fault found meaning it was probably a dodgy earth. Technician told me it will probably happen again and could not fix it if they could not get to the source. Some other gremlins appeared as the weeks went on, so car was rejected. JLR were really good about it and built another to my spec which I collected from the factory a few months later. I ran the "faulty" car for the few months while the new one was being built.

MPx, DJIT, thanks for your replies they are really helpful, I keep looking at other makes, however, drift straight back to RR. My 4.4 has gone now so i'm on the look out, i have my eye on two which meet my specification.
