OK I apologise if this is a particularly stupid question..

I've been rebuilding my m62tub44 engine after replacing pcv vale, valley pan and valve cover seals. Whilst putting the pipe work back, I've found this vacuum pipe comes up short by a good 4 inches (should be attached to the nozzle on the intake pipe).

Does this look like the correct routing? 😂.. I'm losing my mind.

Oh and to add insult to injury, I've lost the little black clip on the end of this pipe somewhere in the engine bay 🥲🤦

Just from looking at your image, it looks like it should follow the path as shown by the big fat red line (which may mean you will have to remove some parts). Also, is the short pipe in the red oblong around the right way ?

Those pipes haven't been replaced as they were still in good condition. Even with the 'stubby two way' pipe fully on the PCV valve nipple, the pipe won't feed below the vacuum pipe going to the top of head 🤷‍♂️

If I try and pull it to reach, the 90deg nipple on the PCV valve skews and partially pulls out of the PCV valve.
