nice one matt, i have used a small bit of green plastic from a sweet wrapper to turn it green, spot on, you will be leaving yours white i take it as you have the white led conversion on you dash, should be able to pick up a light feed in the steering wheel it self, i sent a link to simon at powerful uk as he to wants to fit them to is demo car..

You have been busy Matt. How long did it take to strip the center console? Any ideas on how to get the wires through the wheel yet? |

Centre console takes literally about 5 minutes to strip, its very easy because it has been designed very well! Just working on getting the wires through the wheel. Matt |

cost is very little compared to land rover in fact you cant get paddles on early range rovers from land rover, total cost is the paddles, bit of solder, few lengths of wire and a lot of patience and time thats it. Looking into the slip ring and its starting to look like the wireless option may be the only way, although my plan is to remove the slip ring from the car tomorrow an double check to see if there are any few connections that could be used. Couldn't you just drill a hole and use a good length of wire with plenty of slack? Bit like the rally cars use but not dangling around? |

You could use one of these onto some kind of track to make a connection. Use the crown tip, not the spear tip.
