4.4 TDV8 Serpentine (Accessory) belt length?

Hello All,

Via an online car parts webshop I got 50% discount on 2 brand serpentine belts.
Continental and SKF.
Point it, the length they spec isn't the same.
They BOTH cross reference to LR022803, so that checks out.
The Continental is 2523mm and the SKF is 2518mm.
Sure, that's only 5mm difference, just about 0.2%.

Does anyone know the OEM LR022803 length?

Just buy the cheaper one, 0.2% tolerance will not make any difference....

Yeah, I know, 5mm on 2523/2518mm is nothing, divided by 2 = 2,5mm on the tensioner.
But still...

The webshop is KFZTeile24.de (you need an account)
It could be I got the discount via Payback.
A search for LR022803 gives more hits, those 2 were the brands I know.

Any experience with either brand belt?
Or is OEM the only way to go?
Who makes the OEM belt?

As if it knew...
Before starting this afternoon I thought to check for the white markings on the belt I saw the other day.
You know, one might be lucky.

The OEM Landrover belt is 2518mm.

Mine also looks to have more wear - if you could call it that - at the front.
Maybe this has to do with the chirp at cold starts (that's why I started it) even with a new tensioner.

Here they are.
The SKF is slightly narrower with 21,3mm, the OEM is 22mm.
I'm not finished replacing the idler before the alternator (in the belt travel direction) so I can't tell 100% it's going to work yet.
That idler was the cause of the chirp at the alternator pulley, I think, the old belt had some wear at the edge as the idler was not aligned with the alternator pulley anymore.
