Ah, but mine's got 60k on the clock , but I'd say don't restrict yourself to low mileage cars, mine is at the point where I feel I am getting the best performance from the engine. My TD6 before it too also felt like that at 60k onwards.

Having just sourced a Vogue TDV8 for a friend of mine which has 60K on the clock he saved a packet of cash because the low miles cars command so much money at the moment. His was silver with Sand leather, privacy glass 07 plate, electric steps etc all for only £26k! Discovery 4 HSE

I think you will struggle to find what you are looking for on your proposed budget. I too was looking for a 2008 VSE with RSE in Stornoway and set myself a maximum 40k miles. Nothing around for months and anything half decent with more miles was £40k+

In the end I threw my budget out of the window and bought a 2010MY as felt this was far better value for money - I noticed this week on Autotrader the first 2010MY VSE at a main dealer for the right side of £50k, but I see thats been snapped up (not surprised) there is also one with RSE for £52k which maybe you could have a deal on.

I would be interested to know how RRUK sees the value of his car at present even though it's not for sale

cheers ajay, i have seen a few around for £30-£35k even on dealers sites, i have just bought a new swift caravan so would be foolish for me to throw the budget out this year (swmbo would be even more evil to live with ) lol, the problem is getting it all as i want it, stornaway grey, black leather, rear entertainment, low ish miles, full history, 12 mths warranty and within 100 miles of me.
