Had the L322 for 5 years (50 -> 100k) and the L405 coming up on 4 years so far (32k -> 58k) but starting to look at a replacement, mainly because I have a 5.0 itch I might need to scratch.

Ah I’d forgotten about the 5.0 itch……. That affects me from time to time, but have yet to succumb mainly because the current car has been so good and I’d worry a 5.0 would let me down. Irrational I know, but we’re talking Land Rover products here, where the mantra is “if you’ve got a good ‘un, hang on to it” Smile

United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

Bought my 2006 4.2 s/c in 2012, chopped it in for a 2009 5.0 s/c in 2016 because I’d rather have had that originally. It’s still my daily drive.

England 2002 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Giverny Green

Just coming up for 18 years. Bought mine in May 2005 at almost three years old and 38,000 miles. Now nearly 21 years old and on 156,000 miles. I still love it even after all these years.
I'm 62 so have owned it well over a quarter of my life.

England 2007 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

First one I bought 6 years old, kept it for about 24 years, had new 3.9 v8 petrol with re-jetted stromburg carbs + new LT77 5 speed manual box. I replaced both prop shafts and both diffs etc etc. The metal worm finally defeated me.

Present one going on 8 years

5 years 2 months. A 2005 TD6 Vogue.

Bought it from an auction on a whim and ended up selling my 1 year old RRS. Have done around 30,000 miles so far

Not in a hurry to upgrade or sell….

United States 2003 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

I bought my 2003 HSE in 2007 with ~40,000 miles on it. It now has 230,000 miles on it and still looking good and going strong.

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Causeway Grey

Had mine just over 1 year at 74,000 miles. 2011 l322 Vogue 4.4.

So far new oil cooler, new air con. condenser, diesel tank electrics renewed and fuel filter replaced all done for about £2000, just waiting for next expense. Confused

I knew about the reputation of costs re used RRs before I bought the car so I'm not complaining and have a "repair and service" fund set aside for these things.

This vehicle brings a smile to my face every time I use it, tows my caravan sublimely, reasonably economic for a 4.4 and my wife loves it.

What more can a man want ? RR owner

That sentence pretty much sums up why we all love these cars.

Have had my 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE for 9 years now, first ever diesel and 4th FFRR. Bought it with 25k miles on the clock and now at 75k. Only really let me down once when the starter motor went 'click! I used to do 40k miles per annum but ended up working from home....
