Bought another one to test repair.

Gents My s/c is going in to be welded and painted in a couple of weeks anyway 6 weeks back bloke in the village told me his 2006 4.4 was uneconomical to repair so I offered him 500 quid for it and he said yes so I had a look most of the faults were battery related also one parking sensor and one height sensor also rust in the sills and wheel arches.
I had it repaired by the garage that does all my repairs as a test bed before I gave him mine and the results were very good indeed and they were rotten so now I have another l322 which I can use when mine is being repaired and its ULEZ Thumbs Up Thumbs Up for 2500 quid

Unfortunately it is a late 2006 so it is top rate tax but only 300 a year to insure once I have my daily back from the body shop I will just pass it on to my son its a good car and it has done less than half the mileage of mine but then mine has had all suspension bushes ,wheel bearing drive shafts and diffs replaced at some point my last xor lost a grand a month and that was 20 odd years ago so all on the road for 3 k is good value in my book
