Annoying bleeping when passing speed cameras on the motorway

Hi, I have a 67 plate, does anyone know how to turn off the bleeps that tell me about speed cameras on the motorway.

I use the M42 daily and its driving me potty it going off!

Does it even when I don't have sat nav on...

Not sure whether it's the same on a 67, but on mine, they are custom POI's in the sat nav.

If so, someone loaded them at some point and you can just remove them (all) through the menus.

i also have speed camera pois loaded but i only have the icon showing with no beep activated..

do what alistair suggests and disable the 'beep' sound.. ... - .- -.
