I've had mine for 10 years now. Done just over 41000 miles in it (now on 86000 miles) serviced at a local indy every year apart from 1 during lockdown. Changed brake pads and discs myself a few years ago. Changed battery twice. Drop links and control arms changed out. Changed coolant tank to sort out low level (didn't work so live with it). Had rear arches done about 5 years ago ( rust starting to reappear so need to get them done properly along with the sill rears🙄).

Bought my first L322 new in Feb 2009 - TDV8 Vogue. Did something like 160k miles in that one before replacing it with the current (2012) L322 TDV8 Westminster which I bought from a main dealer in Aug 2021 with only 42k miles on the clock. Didn't even consider an L4xx. Expecting to keep this one for the next decade too! The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom |

Will have had mine 3 yrs in may, bought it on 145k, now on 195k, had new turbos at 180kish and an alternator, new front air struts and some arms, but she’s like my Swiss Army knife and I wouldn’t be without it, drives around town beautifully, does our 1-2 trips a year to Cornwall, Alton towers in total comfort and tows the horse happily. I absolutely love it 2009 (2010 MY) 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography

I'm a long way behind you all having owned my 2012 Westminster since 4 January this year. I have always loved the shape of an L322 and wanted a grey one with black leather and low miles. I got mine with 53750 on it and I'm loving it. It was cherished by its last owner who did just 18000 miles in over 6 years. He changed the batter and starter motor in 2021. Belts and tensioners have also been done as has water pump.

8 years. 2004 TD6. Not much i haven't had to spanner on it. Just had rear arches and sill rears repaired, all rot cut out and new steel let in. then she failed mot with rear sub frame rot. Did the front sub 2 years ago, not too bad a job, rear is a different prospect, sourced a rear sub frame, repairs arranged, but if anything else big is needed, she's dead.

Had the current one for over 2 years now - Craig keeps it perfect for me. My "MO" is buy at 5 years old 60k miles, run for 5 years (to 120k) and then repeat. Hasn't quite worked out like that. First one was a complete mare and had to go - but still persevered for 60k over 4 years. Second was perfect for 5 years. Third was really very good for 4 years until it suddenly wasn't (chains went) at a bad period for me so needed to swap it out sharp rather than wait for a repair. And so on to the SVAD bought at only 4 years old and 52k - perfect so far so may have to keep this one for 6 years or more to make up for the losses! Mike - MPx

Had the L322 for 5 years (50 -> 100k) and the L405 coming up on 4 years so far (32k -> 58k) but starting to look at a replacement, mainly because I have a 5.0 itch I might need to scratch. Sold - Bell a 2015 MY16 Loire Blue Autobiography 4.4 SDV8
