My “Adaptive” cruise control is driving me 😡 mad.
Can I turn off the “Adaptive” part and just leave bog-standard cruise control ? 2013 SDV8 4.4 SE Luxor.

On mine, pressing and holding down for a few seconds the reduce gap button it switches off the adaptive and standard cruise remains. 2017 SDV8 Autobiography

Wish that worked on the 322. My 17 sport was the same, keep it pressed until it turns off the gap. Dec 2021- 2010 Facelift TDV8 4.4 AB in Stornoway Grey.

Yes, just go in main menu and turn off adaptive cruise

It's in the CCF file, you need a diagnostic tool to change it... Gap IID or similar...  Pete

Out of interest, what don't you like about it?

I think it's very clever apart from

1. It leaves it too late for my tastes to brake when coming up to slow/static traffic in lane
2. It tries to undertake cars on the motorway (admittedly the fault of poor lane discipline from others but I wish it would check to the right not just straight ahead)
3. When you pull out into a clear lane it accelerates too harshly for my tastes FFRR SDV8 Autobiography
