There are a few options that have been quietly removed recently. I noticed the Executive Comfort and Comfort Plus seat options have been removed from the AB list as well. |

They’ve also removed the black wheel option even in the 22’’ and the matt black veneer option. Only the natural brown veneer is included in the price whatever colour interior you choose.

I think this is the point. They are pushing people to make the jump to the next trim level from where they were looking, or from the car they currently own, to get the spec they want. My car has now been built and I was going to order another at this point but I will have to jump from AB to SV to be able to order another p530. That’s a £20k premium for a few cosmetic differences that I have no interest in, but it’s the only way to order a V8. I have really had enough of JLR right now, this new one better be good or it will be my last. |

Have they permanently dropped P530 from AB then? |

I don’t know, but you can’t order a P530 AB at the moment. I guess it all depends on if demand drops off. Then they will change it all again. |

I’m the same having just taken delivery of a HSE, to order the same spec next time I have to jump to an AB costing £12k+ more for cosmetic options that are of no interest to me. The only positive is that my current HSE will be highly desirable when I sell it. MY23 D350 HSE

Supposedly not, just for now. The only P530 you can order is an SV as it would seem BMW have put a restriction on the number of engines they will allow to be sold to other manufacturers but as and when they come fully back on line LR will remove the order restriction! I do know where there is an April Black/Black/Black car arriving that is not sold yet (it was a cancelled order that is still available) and its an AB P530 - PM me if you are interested and I can put you in touch with the dealer principle "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence. "TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you. |

SV premium is ridiculous for the few extra bits of fussy tat. |

I saw a prototype being tested on the M5/M6 with huge exhaust pipes, ridiculous sized twin downpipe things, so I don't know whether they're testing other engines to get over this restriction or whether it was something completely different. |

Likely something with the SVR-spec engine.

I'm about to place another order for a new RR to make the most of the low depreciation presently. Today my dealer confirmed I can order the 23'' gloss black wheels I have on my current HSE for a new HSE for £1750. Meaning 23'' wheels are still available via a dealer at the moment but this may change. MY23 D350 HSE

The fuel filler locking will no longer feature on any JLR product. The anti-siphon filler neck is apparently sufficient. |

Its not someone syphoning that concerns me, its what they might introduce into the tank, I remember a time in the 70's/80's when people used to put sugar into petrol tanks out of spite.
