Oil Filter - 2015 SDV8

So yesterday I thought I'd carry out my first service on my 2015 SDV8 Vogue. All was going well until I removed the oil filter. The new one I had in the service kit from Advanced Factors didn't appear to be the same as the unit I'd removed. All of the part numbers appear to tally, but they just don't look the same. The unit that I removed snapped into the cover and looks to have a a tube and non-return valve passing through the centre (which doesn't look to be removable) whilst the new one is just an empty paper cartridge. The new Mahle unit carries the part number OX153/7 D2, while the removed Bosch unit carries the part number F026 407 112 and from my research, these should be identical......but they're not. It could be something blindingly obvious that I've missed.....or maybe I'm stupid, but I've attached a few photographs and grateful if anyone could let me know if they've experienced a similar issue and what the solution is? Otherwise, I fear it could be a trip to the main dealer with an oily filter in a plastic bag to ask for "one of these" Laughing

Apologies for very poor photo, I must try and remember to take a better one next time I change my oil,

The centre plastic tube is a separate detachable piece.
It sometimes remains fixed within the filter bowl when the old filter is removed and it sometimes gets stuck in the centre of the old filter when you separate it from the bowl, in which case you simply prise it out with a flat blade screwdriver, clean it and reinsert in the bowl ready to thread the new filter element over..
If you expand the phot you can just see it in the centre of the bowl.

I’ve found this better picture to show the centre tube fitted in the bowl.
