So I have a service due in couple of days, and I was wondering if anyone have used the BMC filters instead of the LR ones.

I used to have them on my Porsche's before but never in a RR. And they do come pricey so does it worth it's price tag, performance wise?

BMC and K&N filters were better than the originals in flow tests decades ago...

All modern tests I have seen have put them the same, or worse for flow against the latest designs used in our cars...

Personally I wouldn't bother but it's your money...

Also you have to use them dry as the oil will play havoc with all the sensors down the inlets... Pete

Keep to genuine, especially if within a makers warranty period. Main dealers love get-out items when warrenty claims are about. The engine is also used by Jaguar, and their genuine parts are usually very good for performance.
