I had a drivers side rear light failure L460 . Took three weeks to receive the first replacement and another week to get a replacement which wasn’t dented or scratched. Fourth successful .

Maybe the out of stock situation was due to so many others having replacements????

PS. I was so fed up I actually prepared and deleted an email saying make a price, any price and take the Censored car back….

All that ( contained) anger evaporated when I climbed back in the car and had gone less than 100m ! Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...

Nice to know both sides are equally reliable Laughing “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

So you may have seen another post of mine but my near side light failed after 2 months of being left unused. Surprisingly the car was taken in the next day and a pair of replacement lights fitted 24 hrs later.
I was told my car was due a recall for rear lamp failure, possibly this happens when you next visit the dealer for service work if your car is one of the affected chassis number range but don’t quote me on that. Current fleet:
2020 McLaren 600LT Spider
2020 Mercedes C300 Cabriolet
2023 PHEV 440 SE
1992 Lotus Esprit turbo
2019 Alpine A110

I dropped my car in the dealers today, it’s booked in for a week to work through the 18 items I raised on my snag list. The tech that will be working on it mentioned rear lights. MY23 PHEV HSE
MY19 Disco 5 HSE - gone
My16 Disco 4 HSE LUXURY - gone
My12 Disco 4 HSE - gone
MY05 Disco 3 S - gone but not forgotten
