I have a TP-Link 4G router from Curry's for £80 which is plumbed to a rooftop LTE aerial. I installed a Smarty Sim for £18/month which can be hibernated for when I'm not using the caravan (which is hardly ever!) and it gives me more than enough bandwidth to stream tv, even abroad. It's unlimited in the UK but restricted to 25GB in the EU. I use a Samsung 24" smart tv but also have a Firestick which gives voice control. I have an Alexa Dot in the van so I can turn lights on, operate the kettle, awning lights, set the A/C, turn on the tv and control the channel etc. I can also do it from the car of course, which is good to cool the van down, turn the awning/interior lights on and get the kettle on all in one command. I just say "welcome home". |

I installed a full blown media centre in mine. Two TV's - one in the seating area, one in the bedroom, good sound system. Media centre hosts circa 1000 films / TV series running PLEX, it has hundreds of CD's and loads of photos and videos of our travels. It's a great space saver, noi CD's or DVD's to carry, links seemlessly to a similar system at home if required. BMW i3 Electric Car

I have Plex also. It’s very good for film storage and viewing. I also have a 5TB hard drive in case of no connection or signal though the satellite dish. |

PLEX is superb, at home we have a receiver connected to it and do all of our PVR stuff as well, it can record 4 channels simultaneously. All of the TV's and speakers in the house are linked to it, 30 Tb RAID as storage. BMW i3 Electric Car

I also delve into my cousins library which never misses a beat. Agreed, great bit of kit. |
