I looking to buy a slimline expedition roof rack. From what I can gather, there’s only two real options:
- Front Runner
- Land Rover Passion/Outrack

They both seem very similar and both about the same size. The LRP one seems to stand a little less proud on top of the roof, but only by a few cm so really not much in it. Also, both very similar in price. I also like the LRP feet as they look much more fin-like so more aero and a cleaner look.

Does anyone have either of these and what are your experiences?
What are the niggles, if any?
How bad is the additional wind noise?

Any real world experiences of either much appreciated. Thanks in advance! Andy

There's also the expedition rack from Voyager which is similar to the G4 racks.

If you get lucky you might also find a Land rover expedition rack going used locally, which is fairly low profile for a rack with sides. I was lucky enough to find one the other day.
