Flat batter on local shopping trip!

I know I have parasitic leak and it may be addressed at full service in a couple of weeks time. However in the meantime I have been topping up the battery via a charger a couple of times a week and the car has been just fine mainly on local (10/20 mile journeys). Today however a slightly different usage. 50 miles round tips to various shops. Sitting arrond inside the car probably in total with the dogs whilst my wife did her thing for an hour. The last of these a half an hour wait, windows down in Sainburys car park, dogs hanging out. Ignition on and radio off. When she came back. not enough juice to start the engine Fortunately I had jump leads and a local farmer helped me out. By the time I got home (10 miles away) the car would start and the battery was reading 12.45 volts. Its now back on charge. Any ideas? the rear wiper is duff and not at the home positional the motor perhaps that's drawing some current? I will pull the fuse tomorrow. Also I know the previous owner changed the battery in November. I don't know if he registered it with the car. I will get that checked at the service as I don't have an IID tool. Any thing else obvious I can check? Thanks again to everyone for your support. Willie

With just the ignition on there is a considerable battery drain & of course the car will not shut down properly unless locked.

Left to it’s own devices, it struggles to power the clock 🤣

Gone are the days when you could wash your car listening to the radio….
