Collected my facelift SDV8 AB today. Drove home the 250 miles from Dundee, car was sublime. Absolutely love it, so many things to get to grips with! I love the colour combo, and I paid for the RR OEM side steps which really make a difference with the looks. Great service from the dealer too.

Its an incredible machine! Only down side thus far is the unexpected, slightly restricted space in the boot, as the car has the exec class/super slouch(!) rear seats, which take some space away from the cargo area. Not the end of the world, the dogs will have to slum it a bit !

The only dog guard I could find that is suitable is the half guard from Britpart (non OEM) as the LR dont seem to do one for compatible with these kind of rear seats - if they do, they are made of unobtainium. Thanks to Robin at Duckworths for helping me out there.

I wasn't going to bother with the 'in control' subscriptions, as its the wife who is the main driver, unless there is something I would really miss not having - I doubt that. 2019 SDV8 Autobiography in Byron Blue

Re InControl, it’s really nice and very useful in Winter when the car is totally frozen, to have the Remote Start feature.
I’m not 100% sure if you need the subscription for that, or if it just works with the phone App anyway
