I know you can get a replacement loom and cut the wires and crimp/solder

I did that tbf, went as high up as possible but I still got the faults and now a new one has turned up about circuit voltage out of range so odds are the soldering has failed somewhere in my repair.

But my real question is, do those wires track back to a connector somewhere so I can replace the entire loom? Since replacing it didn't fix the initial suspension/adaptive fault I was having Its actually a sport

The wires from the suspension sensor to connector pair C2411/12 are 2.7m long which at a guess puts the connectors behind the LF footwelll side cover. The wires from the connector pair to the suspension ecu are 6.8m long.

Have you checked for damaged wiring under the RH rear seat? A harness there tends to take a short-cut then get squashed by the seat frame.

hmm i can check that harness tbf but the issues started when i replaced the 2 front left/right struts.

I assumed I must have damaged the height sensor loom.

Is there a way I can test the pins at the height sensor connector with a multimeter to see which is the broken wire? Its actually a sport

Is it a suspenion fault or an adaptive dynamics fault or both?

These vehicles use a twin heght sensor, 1 for suspenison height and the other for adaptive dynamics, with 3 wires each. The wiring diagrams are below.

It's both, car does have adaptive suspension. I'll be stripping down my repair and checking tomorrow.

The ebay one might only be a single sensor for height control on earlier non-CVD vehicles rather than a double one that's required for CVDs.

i checked tbf, had all the pins and it tbf does claim to be CVD one. i think to eliminate that issue ama just order a LR Its actually a sport

fixed.

the error codes were correct.

the sensor was point inwards instead of outwards. i compared it to the right sensor alignment and there it is.

am guessing it got "crossed" over when I dropped the hub.
