Has anyone here got any good or bad stories about valet parking at Heathrow or their meet and greet service?

I recall watching a TV programme, maybe Watchdog about airport parking and despite their glossy advertising about secured, well lit, manned parking, a lot of cars ended up in fields with no security at all.

we have used heathrow meet and and greet a few times and never had a problem despite all horror stories that come out every time you look at the internet! but i always take a picture of mileage so can check when we get back in car, the average mileage has been around 3mls so not getting very far from drop off point! |

Yes I love the pods and use those on business but this is a 2 week family holiday and the pod is over £100 more. Discovery 4 HSE

Currently using the T5 meet and greet. Arrival experience was fine.... hopefully once we're back from India we'll find the second half of the experience to be fine too... Bish.

Which it was, even with adjusting our arrival time due to BA taking 2 hours to get our bags off the flippin plane. Bish.

I used to wash aircraft many moons ago at gatwick and when I was up high to do the tail, I could see the car park they used- I regularly used to watch the guys racing the cars round, watching them bouncing up and down as they cained them across the place- you could hear them revving the engines up when they were stone cold from being parked up for a week or two- it was then that I said to myself I will never, ever use this service for my cars. 2009 (2010 MY) 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography

I'd heard horror stories but I use Purple Parking often and put a spare phone in the glovebox using an always on USB running "Life360 App" you can track your car very easily, sort of home made tracker.
