Reversing Camera Replaced But Lines Don't Move

Hi everyone,

My first post in here, thanks for all the helpful tips, which helped me replace my incorrect (faulty) reversing camera, it had it's left and right mixed up (reversed) , which was very annoying.

I found a second hand one on ebay (original from 2010) , replaced it and now it is corrected the left and right and also added straight lines on the picture. My issue is, when I move the steering wheel, I assume those straight lines , are meant to move with the steering wheel? Does anybody know if this needs some sort of software update to allow this to happen or is there something else wrong? I have a late 59 L322 with the digital dash, so the 2010 camera is for the correct model, so I know I have not put the updated camera on the non facelift model, if that makes sense.

Thank you in advance.

Steve

The lines only bend on vehicles fitted with the 'Vision Pack' surround cameras, I believe. 2012 (L322) 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE, RSE, Fuji White over Arabica.

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Orkney Grey

I have a 2012 TDV8 Westminster and the lines on my reversing camera don't 'move or bend' when I'm turning. Don't know if it is meant to do so or if it wasn't a feature on the 'lower' spec vehicles.

Thank you all for the great insights.

I have no idea if it had that vision pack, it is a Vogue SE but I assume that vision pack, was an optional extra on top.

thanks again.

If you have the two cameras in the front bumper and the two under the mirrors, that's the main component of the Vision Pack. 2012 (L322) 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE, RSE, Fuji White over Arabica.

I know it wont help much... But i have a 2007 Vogue - Reverse camera lines have the curved guides when you turn the wheel working fine.

I dont have a vision pack, or any extra camera's.

Even while the camera was broken, the lines still appeared and curved on the screen (I rplaced the camera with a working one yesterday, and they work fine still too).

Is it actually related to the camera module, or is there a setting in the headunit menu somewhere?
Or even to do with the steering angle sensors?
