Had a quick search around but didn't find many opinions and suggestions in other threads.

What tyre pressures (and tyres) are folk running in 275/45/21.

I find the ride a touch firm at factory light load pressures (34F 37R PSI)

16MY SDV8, Pirelli Scorpion Verdes. Usually just me by myself or me and my partner in the car.

34/37 is what I aim for, it's OK for me, but the 21" PS Verdes are annoyingly prone to tramlining. I use 20" wheels with Goodyear Duratracs over the winter and they don't have that problem, but do use more fuel, are noisier and have only a 99mph rating. RedMerle on here reported that 20" wheels with PS Verde didn't tramline, maybe 20" wheels would give you the ride quality you're after.

Based on my last 322, Continental tyres have softer sidewalls (which wear more quickly) and they might also give a more compliant ride. Only Range Rovers since 1988

Can't say I've noticed the tramlining having been used to 21 inch alloys on my outgoing l322.

I will say I don't find the 405 uncomfortable and it's strides ahead of my last 2 facelift l322s which were crashy and hard.

Unfortunately I couldn't go to a 20 inch as there are no styles I like on the 405 and I think they look too skinny so although that may be the best riding alloy size I think for me the 21 inch is the next compromise.

Will look at the continentals at tyre time. Can currently has a 2021, 2022 and two 2015 tyres.
