going to be doing a full service 3.6 soon so just collecting all the bits and bobs .....I've only got 1 question and that's about the oil breather separator don't know when mine was last done so was looking at doing it or do you think its not worth the cost and effort ?

for £80 i would say do it it is a service part at some stage much like a pcv valve on the petrol v8 I could be wrong new vehicle purchase

yea was thinking the same and as i don't know when it was done last may as well ,think its well over priced tho for what it is

i know what you say with regards price for some of the parts you think that is a dear item some of the be spoke pipe work now that's something else. but then see the hours of comfort and the big smile on your face when you are going along you soon forget the service cost. just think about if you never had it parked outside the house

At the risk of sounding stupid but where is that part located, I have found the part number (LR002343G), I can't find anything called an breather oil separator in the workshop manual.
