Well, I pick it up next week. Dealer has gone out of his way to encourage me to take LR finance, taking out the cost of the fixed side steps, cost of 2nd year warranty and the years VED, the car is costing £51400. That is absolutely astounding for a 19 plate facelift SDV8 AB.

I did a quick check of Motorway and We Buy Any car, for selling valuations, as a bit of a sense check. Motorway came out at £55630 and WBAC £53900.

The prices haven’t dropped but on the back of your good fortune I did check my trade in value for my D5 and I feel better now!

Sometimes a dealer has a target to meet etc and I think you’ve just been very fortunate.
