Clearing out my wife's RR, there's a wine gum lodged in a small crack / gap and I go to get it, during a routine clear out, and it falls down the gap. I've had my finger down and it seems like a never ending chasm! I cannot feel / find the sweetie.

It's next to the front seat... there's a gap where the carpet trim from the rear meets the trim at the front. A small gap - pic attached.

A long shot, but does anyone know how to get in there?

Don’t know how to access other than suggest tweezers or endoscope, so no real help Im afraid….

Flexible claw grabber tool? Search on Google. Even if it won’t work for this it is a very usefull addition to any toolbox. Bailed me out a number of times and not just with the car. John

Thanks for all of the suggestions and I'm glad it brought some laughs! I didn't think it through and I suppose it is an odd thread title.

I will consider all of the options suggested... even 'live with it' - which might be my only option as the gap is such that - there are many twists and turns, once through the first part, that I'm not sure anything would easily get down there - to wherever it's ended up.

I didn't want a mouldy old winegum stuck in the trim somewhere so I'm a bit gutted. '67 Full Fat RR

Put the seat in it's highest position and remove the plastic trim which just pulls off, you should then have enough room, if not the seat is held in with four bolts, remove them, tip the seat back against the rear seat and it will give you more access...

Having said that the sugar content of a wine gum means it is unlikely to go mouldy or smell even if it is wedged deep in your crack...!!!!  Pete

can you get at it enough to get a self tapping screw into it? That may give you enough purchase on it to lift it free through the trim. First time FFRR owner

Buy a mouse, let it loose in the car, it will eventually eat the wine gum, after its eaten it, buy a mousetrap, bait with peanut butter.

At least it was just a wine gum. My son dropped one of his AirPods down the gap by the rear seatbelt buckle, and in an attempt to show me what had happened by using the other AirPod, he went on to drop that one down there as well.

Despite all efforts to find them, including asking the dealer, we have long since given up. The dealer suggested that the only way to recover them was to remove the seats, at considerable expense, so we decided to leave it. 2024 Range Rover P550e AB
