Air Suspension 2011

Hi all, So the front corner dropped a little, but went back up when the car started, while driving i got suspension raising a couple of times (air going in) and then a pump over heating warning.

Had a diag done on it, it stayed up for 30 mins with no loss, and they state its the compressor at fault from the diag. Does a new one need to be programmed to the car, or can a new full unit be put in without issue?

Thanks for any info

Probably best to investigate for leaks in the, system first, most likely nothing wrong with the compressor...

Have the diag, states no leak but intermittent fault on compressor, so wonder if it is in that were the issue is. Going to put it up to full height this weekend and soapy water time to check. If nothing is found, on the bags and i do replace the compressor, does anyone know if it would need coding to the car?

Replacing compressor like-for-like requires no coding.

If changing from Hitachi to AMK, there is a change to be made to the car configuration. 2012 (L322) 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE, RSE, Fuji White over Arabica.
