EGR disintegration can take out the turbo and worse if bits get ingested into the engine. It's a particular weakness with these engines unfortunately. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

From the fault codes, they sort of suggest several underlying issues.

Quick update here, currently waiting for initial repairs. Bought and refurbished both sides EGR valves and an injector (all used parts) and hope that will get the car moving again.

So in the end found a qualified and affordable mechanic to start proper diagnosis, which after initial tests resulted in the engine being taken out of the car entirely.
