United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Baltic Blue

Grim reading there!

You don't have to be a genius to see how far behind LR is in the electrification field.

I have said for a couple of years now that the LR bubble will be bursting 'soon'. The anecdotal evidence can be seen every day - (LR products are everywhere!!!) but it seems in reality all is not well.

By the time they’ve loaded enough batteries into a full fat to give an acceptable range, you’ll need an HGV licence to drive it

Unless they are bought by the likes of VAG or Tesla I just struggle to see how they will achieve electrification.

For Land Rover they should maybe look at a curve ball like the range extender principle. Our first BEV was a BMW I3 REX and a brilliant concept back in 2014. They should also partner with JCB for a hydrogen strategy. MY23 PHEV HSE
