Vialli the Abarth. As different as you can get…

SWMBO thinks I have gone nuts…

With the RR not really going to be used for short trips. I looked at buying something can be used for the station run, nipping into the village, and of course going to the pub etc.

So… ended up with this little Italian nutter. Reckon it can fit *inside* the RR Laughing

Thanks, Craig. It’s the polar opposite of a soft luxury 4x4.
Unfortunately, I’ve already been bitten by the upgrade bug. Short shift kit, carbon gear stick and Ferodo pads etc.

I bet it's bloody good fun to drive. My small car choice would have to be the Toyota Yaris 4 wheel drive WRC homologation version, seriously nuts.

Get the boss to take Vialli out for a good thrashing on some country roads, this may change her thoughts on the car, then you can tell her Ner Ner
Sometimes for short journeys I borrow my daughters Hyundai Veloster, in that I can throw it round corners in a manner that would be bloody lethal in my FF, it's very entertaining Very Happy Said daughter thinks I drive it slowly Rolling with laughter

Very Nice!

A friend has an Aston and a Comp Abarth, he's reckons the Abarth (never call it a Fiat, dealers and owners get very upset) is more fun to drive. Sound amazing with the Akrapovic exhaust.

Italian nutters are great. We bought a 595 Competizioni of the 180 bhp variety to replace our Smart for 2. It's a rocket ship for a shopping cart in bright yellow. Certainly not understated. The FF is quicker to 60 but doesn't feel it. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged

Agreed, Craig, and I think I am the same!

Also thank you for al the all the positive comments. I like the photo of the Velar *in* the RR.
But I must say, the Competizione model is just mental. I don't think I would be allowed that as a shopping trolley. Rolling with laughter

Collection is set for later this week. However as I promised SWMBO a valentine trip away - I know, I know...
It means "Vialli" will have to stay put until the weekend... Current: L322 2011 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE, MB GLB AMG35, Renault Clio R200 Cup

My daughter had a standard 500 then changed it for a 595 and what a thing that was! Secretly enjoyed it when I had it for a week at service time… Italian tune up was great fun!!! Whistle

Hmmm - I bet it went a bit faster after the service. Wink

I just read an article of someone who put the whole G-Tech (Germany?) upgraded turbo etc. A figure of close to 330ps was obtained!

TBH- I will be happy with 160-180 tops.
