United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Baltic Blue

I did. Unfortunately it didn't do anything.

I checked the button status with the IID tool and it's registering a button push but nothing is happening when it's being pressed unfortunately.

Will fit the new ECU and run the calibration procedures in the IID tool this afternoon/evening. Fingers crossed!

I replaced the ECU on the transfer box tonight and it’s giving exactly the same fault as the original. Was pretty gutted at that as my ECU gave the exact same symptoms on a friends car when we tested it on that.

I did some more digging tonight and despite there being no fault codes on the main transmission ECU, I do believe I’ve found the cause of my problem.

According to the IID tool the gearbox is in 3rd gear but it shows the gear position selected as being park. When looking at the supply voltage it’s only showing 7v at the gearbox so it looks like I’ve found the cause of my problems.

I’ll start another thread on that though so it’s easier for people to find if they have the same issue at a later date.
