@TJH1985:

Shocked What!? ALL of that when drunk? Thud What did SWIMBO say?

Had to laugh at that 1st pic, almost could have been taken in my garage Whistle
Well, drunken logic dictates that a reel HAS to follow a compressor purchase Laughing

The lift was clearly a DP, since you can’t even use it for the FFRR? Surprised Rolling with laughter “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Not sure where I’m going to hide this. “I thought we’d agreed you weren’t buying one” - “oh, I thought we’d agreed that I WOULD be buying one”.
At least I didn’t win the AMG 6.3 money pit version 😬

I day dream about these things, and then have a bit to drink and think “heck why not, it’s a great idea” Very Happy

The L405 fits on it nicely, just not in the garage! It can lift 3.5T and picks up the lift points nicely. I’ll grab a photo next time it’s on it!

I’m very much in the dog house, we need a new Kitchen really but they are so boring by comparison! Sold - Bell a 2015 MY16 Loire Blue Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

@TJH1985:

You can just blame it on us all here at fullfatrr, taunting you mercilessly if you didn’t buy Rolling with laughter

Somewhere on t’interweb, there’ll be a graph showing “cost of purchase vs fear of SWIMBO vs amount of alcohol required to be consumed vs likelihood of buying vs likelihood of divorce”.

Always stay just below the red line, and you’ll be fine Whistle “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Yeah but it's always easier to gain forgiveness than it is permission.

Buy now, repent (a little) later. First time FFRR owner

Kurt. I think you drink a fair amount, I’m buying shares in Diageo ! Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

This is it at the moment. I stripped everything and sand blasted and powder coated it as it was pretty rusty. Just starting to put it together again.

There's a bit more info in the bikers thread.

I'm not doing drunk motorcycle assembly.

#2, looks a good bit of kit!

Ditto, I had missed your last post TJH1985, a link would be good, how easy is it to move in & out the garage by oneself? “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Just been to the garage to see how much space there would be to store the ramp that TJH1985 has, thinking 'That would be perfect Thumbs Up BUT........ there is no space left, after my daughter had her own 'E-bay when drinking' experience Censored Censored Censored there is not enough space due to the bleedin running machine, rowing machine, free weights and other 'get fit' paraphenalia ( it took two delivery guys and myself to lift the running machine out of the back of a truck Big Cry ) Guess who had to assemble the damn thing.

TJH1985 - Please post a link for the ramp, it will add to my misery.it would be sooooo useful Thumbs Up

Bean, if you start selling stuff on Ebay, the list is going to be bloody impressive Bow down Rolling with laughter
As you were looking at a Vectra VXR, I dare you to start looking at the various Holden models, that could be very interesting Rolling with laughter

Sorry guys! I should have purchased one 10+ years ago though absolute game changer.

Here’s a link, I suggest waiting until you’ve had a few.

I have the mobility kit and can move it around on level ish ground myself easy enough, it take’s a little bit of a run up to get it over the rubber hump on the way into the garage but otherwise it’s fine and I have cheap Halfords mats down in the garage which don’t help.

Oh and another pic to wet the appetite:

Just been outbid on this:

Thing is I don’t remember bidding on it, I remember looking at them and having a few beers but appeared to have bid £700😳😂👍

I’ll class this as a nearly…. L322 TD6 2003
Epsom Green- the dogs car which has worked it’s way into being the family car 😮

Sorry @Slow Progress, you have a £10 fine in your inbox…… Whistle

“Drunk Purchases” have to be exactly that, otherwise invalid. Evil or Very Mad Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

C’mon all, there is NOT ENOUGH ACTIVITY on this thread! What on earth is the matter with you all? Fear of SWIMBO finding out your little foibles? So come on, pour yourself a glass or three, and get shopping!

Currently, I’m looking at a £500 Nilfisk pressure washer, think I need another drink….. it would be so useful, surely she’ll see reason? Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?
