I notice that some of the Autobiography models on AutoTrader that have been registered in 2023 have Meridian Signature sound and some haven't.

Does this mean it's just pot luck what you get or has there been a change back to Signature as standard again recently?

Anyone heard anything? Mine is still showing 3D Surround on Vista.

The shortages issue has been going on so long and has got so bad, it can only get better.
Some one is going to have their rear quarters kicked… the last MD left because of the unresolved chip shortage.

Tata must be going nuts with money tied up in half finished cars… I bet a penny to a pound there is a task force cutting / running through the deep swamp of parts back orders. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

Signature has not been reinstated on any chassis that it was removed from as far as I know. It’s firmly SV only at the moment.

I think they are making it up as they go along. You get a different story from each person you ask.

There is also someone on Rangerovers.net who says their AB has just been built with Signature.

It seems that LR send the dealers schedules showing what is available for what models and the likely time from order to delivery. I was told that Signature was not available for SV either at the moment. What a mess. Especially at the price point. Only Range Rovers since 1988

LR customer services said they do send schedules as you describe which they should share with customers. I have never had any information from the dealer at all.

Have you all been told by your dealer that the sound system will be downgraded?

I spoke to mine last week - he proactively called me to say no news on delivery - and as I've ordered an AB, I wondered if he was going to say something about Meridian Signature, but nothing. 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

No, they don't tell you. I saw it on a screenshot of Vista they sent me showing my build date. I then asked them about compensation for the downgrade and the Sales Manager said "you're the first customer to notice". This suggest that they 'surprise' most customers when they come to take delivery.

My dealer already told me that my P510e AB will not get the Signature but the 3D and as compensation a £1400 discount. But nobody knows when I will have the car. It was just ordered 6 months ago, so still a long time to go.

My dealer (Sytner) called to advise my L460 P530 was being downgraded to 3D only. Reckons I’ll get compensation when it’s ready early April. Been waiting since December 2021!!!

Are you getting yours from Sytner in Sunbury dc44back? If so how are you finding their customer service so far?

Yes. Bought my RR5.0AB from there (Guy Salmon) in 2018.

Got a new contact since December who confirmed production end of March, handover early April latest.

Sounds like yours will be arriving around the same time as mine. Although I have been waiting a little longer.
