Mud flaps - yes or no?

I have recently purchased a TDV8 which I am very pleased with. It's a 2007 57 Vogue in black with matching black interior.

It doesn't have any side steps or tubes which I prefer, but also doesn't have any mud flaps either, so it's very "naked". I don't know if it looks a bit TOO bare.

Do you think it would look better with or without mud flaps? I'm finding it hard to decide!

My 2006 has mud guards and I wish it didn't, if the mud flaps are fitted correctly it's irreversible as they require holes drilled through the side of the lower front wing trim and the side of the rear bumper.

I don't dislike them enough to fill the holes and get the bits repainted, but I personally think the naked look looks most modern.

It's a big yes from me I also think they look bare without them and they keep the spray down. I do However hate side steps but love the chrome bars! I also think light guards add a nice touch. But keep away from the bling Thumbs Up

Thanks for the replies guys.

I make that: YES=3 NO=3

So, a draw so far!

It seems there is support in equal measure for both options.

Mine had f + R mud flaps and side tubes when I bought it, wasn't mad on the tubes but they have grown on me.

The flaps make it look chunkier and fat which is the way I like it Thumbs Up 06 4.2 SC Bonatti Grey/ Ivory

For a road car flaps front and rear and side steps for the missus, the kids and my little legs Smile

If your going off road (big time!) then no flaps or the floppy ones .
