I think silver really suits the ageless design of the earlier L322’s Thumbs Up

I think these earlier ones have aged less in looks than the facelift versions.
If I got a more sensible car for everyday use I'd want an L322 for the weekend and would definitely go for an earlier model. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Right,

Have so far added rubber mats and replaced the passenger front side 'pop out' cup holder has it refused to come out! Found second hand working one on eBay.

Ordered rear boot protector also, as my double dog crate from the Disco fits Cool

So, first major test today, leaving Somerset at 6.30 for the 557 mile trip up to Inverness. SWMBO, myself, Son no2 (19) and both dogs.

Last night I took out the offside rear passenger seat, so the camping fridge-freezer could sit in the back with the dogs raw frozen food (fits perfectly in the seat slot)

Had an immediate issue, when I wasn't able to close the drivers door, it was -8 when we left, so assumed something on the door was frozen solid. Had to pull the door shut while SWMBO hit the lock button Laughing we stopped after 4 hrs driving at a services and the door decided to then start working properly Thumbs Up

The FF was brimmed with LPG and petrol and it managed about 270 miles, before I switched over to petrol (couldn't find a nearby LPG station)

The FF gobbled up the miles, with the journey talking 10hrs door to door, including 2 stops, really pleased with it's performance.

Only real issue (besides the door) is an annoying vibration when doing around 50mph, comes and goes, but disappears once you you push through 60 and above.

Drive shaft perhaps? My first disco did this and it turned out to be the drive shaft.

We're up here for a week, so more updates and pics I hope to come Thumbs Up Iggy/Ieuan

The vibration appears to be the lower suspension control arms. Worth a check.

Regard
