Look in the WIKI at the WSM, could be frame fixings loose. There is a diagnostic routine in the seating section to help you identify the potential problem. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue |

Tried this but the seat is still rocking at both extremes and after doing. -- On my third Full Fat RR there's nothing like it. |

it feels like a screw has come loose or a clip has broken or maybe even part of the seat subframe has broken. I can't see anything but when I accelerate the chair rocks back. The lefthand side seems firm but the right is loose. Looking at the WSM it looks like you can take the plastic moulding off reasonably easily and that might allow enough access to tighten something but I don't know what. Just to update, in case is useful for anyone else, I’m at the main dealer and they think is a broken seat frame - which is not covered by my extended warranty (one of the exclusions).

Apparently, the seat frame itself is fine but there is a bar - like a long screw which goes between the left and right rail and that somehow has bent.
