Look up the laws regarding tyres. Friend of mine told me that you have too have matching tyres all round and when applicable snow/at tyres |

Sadly not in the FF as I sold it a while ago (profile now updated), likely to be an Italian Sports saloon. I have used the Hull ferry a few times in the past and yes the overnight is a good service for arriving ready for a long drive. Will look in to the tires all matching and investigate breakdown cover. Thanks to all. |

Toll tag, Swiss vignette, breakdown insurance, triangle + any other mandatory gear depending on country, French Crit'air depending on cities / route, GB sticker and/or on registration plates (not UK)

Thanks for all the replies. My mobile phone provider is asking for £2 per day to use my UK plan in Europe. Any suggestions on a Sim only plan as my phone has Dual Sim system.? |
