I have had this problem previously it is caused by the IID tool having thinner pins than most other readers. They are in spec but at the thinnest end of the specifications.

I would not mess with the OBD pins for fear of breaking the socket, … much safer to buy a cheap OBD extension lead off eBay and plug the iid into that.

Have just bought an icarsoft tool - that worked in resetting air suspension fault.
