Rim protector tear

Hi
I’ve just bought a set of 21” with 275/45/21 Pirelli’s with loads f tread left. One of them has a small chunk out of the rim protector (which I knew about before buying). There’s no cords exposed- it’s the thickest part of the tyre and not the main side wall.
Is there any rubber filler on the market to make it look a bit better? 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Try some black silicone sealant. I hate rim protectors as they are not strong enough to protect the rim and cut and tear with the slightest contact with the curb. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Yeah I agree. Pointless. Trouble is, when you kerb it, it looks terrible. 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

Also be aware you need to inform your insurer if you fit non standard wheel sizes as they class as a modification. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
