Hiya. You can't get the sensor separately from the expansion tank.

The part number for the tank and sensor is LR022731. I got mine from Maltings 4x4.

Replaced the FSR today (no fan, F41 ok).

What. A. Bitch. Of. A. Job.

4 and a half hours start to finish.

The thread on here doesn't apply to a 2012 Autobiography.

I had to take the lower dash trim off which involves removing half the sodding dashboard! There are screws hidden all over the place that aren't mentioned in the WM. The trim round the bonnet release has to come off which means removing the tread plate.

What a ball ache!

The original lasted 126k miles. Hopefully this one will too!

Any tags or labels on the mats? I wonder if there's any info there. I kind of like the trunk mat in that diamond-quilted design.

Well, I had an interesting trip from the midlands to Liphook before Christmas.

I was on the pre-Christmas trip to pick the mother-in-law up and do the 'Family Circle' trip to drop off and pick up presents to Seaford, Newhaven, Waterlooville and back to Liphook.

On the way to Liphook on the Friday I got the dreaded red DPF Full - See Dealer message and the GAP IID couldn't force the regen. In fact, the soot mass went UP from 23g to 32g!

I messaged Glenrands at about 21:20 on a Friday night, not expecting a response until Saturday morning at the earliest, more likely Monday. 5 minutes later, Ross responded. Messages were exchanged and the upshot was for me to take the Rangie in at 09:00 on Monday 19th December 2022 and they'd take a look and see what they could do.

Turns out that the turbo drain mod hasn't been done on my engine (despite it being a December 2012 build!) and that's why my DPF is filling so fast and so often, despite 15 miles of motorway driving each way to and from work.

Long story short, they got me back on the road and it's been fine since.

They were truly excellent and their customer service is second to none.

If you're in the south central area don't bother looking anywhere else, go to Glenrands.

Oil passing through the DPF will cause more ash load and reduced soot capacity (one reason I don't like revving mine beyond 2500rpm) 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Unfortunately I can't find any makers or suppliers info on them.

Sorry.

Got fed up with the climate control sensor fan squealing at me every time I went straight on or turned right (it shut up when I went left!) so I removed the control unit, dismantled it (did JLR really need to use 14 Torx screws?!), cleaned and lubricated the sensor as best as I could.

Reassembled it, reinstalled it and all appears to be good now.
