As the button on the end of the stalk doesn’t work either quick press or long hold I can’t get into this menu ( I thought from what everyone was saying there maybe some way to trigger this menu from
Infotainment) will leave it and see what happens when it runs low on fuel,if nothing it’s a trip to the garage.

Ok thanks that’s good to know, do you know what it shows as on the menu on the infotainment or what I need to select ?

On mine it comes up on the touch screen when the button on the stalk is held in for 5 seconds. John

And there might be something on 5 here that could assist. Not sure what’s in there.

After nearly two years of ownership, I'm ashamed to admit that I've only just realised that one has to keep clicking down to get to the second half of the Vehicle Setup menu. I have always thought something was missing! 2011MY 4.4TDV8 Autobiography Baltic Blue

Possible success… as discussed I let it run low on fuel which changed the display to distance to empty and lit up the fuel light. I pressed ok to clear this which still left the distance to empty on the dash. Went to fill up with fuel, didn’t press anything, when I started up the car it changed the range to 200 plus miles and out went the fuel light. Job done, not sure it’s the ideal fix as I darent press the button on the indicator stalk will leave as is now I have the display I want
