Headlights strange flashing

Has anybody on here experienced their headlights flashing on and off once every few seconds for about a minute? They are not flickering but actually going off then back on again very quickly. It's done it twice now and only noticed it the other day and last night while I was driving. It does it in auto mode and manual. My lights are the self leveling that do a dance when they are switched on. Anything to do with cold weather you think? Much appreciated guys.

Have you changed the lamps to LED's? I found this happened with LED's due to the LCM 'cold test', Tungsten/Halogen or HiD's don't do it.

I had a similar problem years ago with the headlights winking alternatively. Fault was traced to a damp LCM behind the panel at the side of the drivers footwell. Dampness was from a leaking sunroof drain. Dried it all out and alls been well ever since

Hey phoenix no just original bulbs. But I think Nobby could be right with what he said. I had the windscreen removed when the roof was resprayed and does slightly leak a bit so that could be it. I'm going to have to take it back to the paint shop to get them to sort it me thinks. Thanks guys.
