Hand book

Or lack of it.
Writing things on paper may be a tad old fashioned but if you are going to do it digitally then do it properly and completely.
JLR are putting themselves in a weak position legally, the old get of jail free card was the handbook told you how to.
As lights are still a dark art, pun intended, I tried the App
Oppen App/scroll to Range Rover/enter year/Head Lights=No result found
Oppen App/scroll to Range Rover/enter year/ Lights=DLR
Ok I will look at that does not tell me which lights come on
But I want Head Lights
Oppen App/scroll to Range Rover/enter year/Lights/scroll down/Lighting control Oh why did I not think of that.
"The lighting control is located to the left of the steering wheel" Oh that narrows it down a bit.

And breath

When they are doing what I need the lights themselves are just awesome. letters not necessarily in the right order

Or, you can download an iGuide that's specific to your car. Then you just:

Open app/Categories/Exterior Lights.

But I get the 'no paper handbook' thing. I was initially quite angry with the lack of it but not so much now.

But, maybe it's an age thing and us youngsters are just coping. Whistle

I'd normally agree, but I used the online manual when I bought my car a couple of years ago and it's just as good as a proper manual. I don't know what the app is like to compare, but try this if you haven't done so already:

I found the lights in a couple of seconds and it's very clear, with links to explanations of the various functionality

Martin , that’s the same menu that’s found via remote app.

Anyway as Dixy says once they are on they are awesome & very clever! Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

He who dies with the most toys wins...

From the description, the app didn't sound the same!

The Pixel lights are very good, not quite the range of the laser lights in my 750i, but the functionality is just as good. I wouldn't be without a decent set of Matrix or Pixel lights on my car, having had them on my daily since 2014. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Dixy, I agree with you, LR should at least give the option of getting a printed handbook. There are plenty of places in the Scottish Highlands where there is no reception to look at things online if e.g. one needs to check something at the roadside. Maybe one could print the relevant section of ownerinfo.landrover and keep the print in the car, but a bit of a faff one could do without. Only Range Rovers since 1988

I get that having a printed manual isn't probably justified these days but I see no reason why JLR don't make the manual available as a downloadable pdf.

I have a few of these on my phone for various things and, being downloaded it doesn't require any mobile connection so is available whenever needed. 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography

I complained to my Dealer and they ordered me a handbook through parts department. It was £60 and they gave it to me FOC. To be fair, there are SO many options on these cars across models the book end up being pretty thick and much of whats in there is for other models, so lots on the PHEV etc which is not applicable to my car 2006 S/C owned from new.
